Lightbulb Benelli torni TF200, 810T GA3

We have a lathe Benelli TF200 with a Sinumerik 810T GA3, but we have a big problem because the batteries was flew so all the CNC data were lost (TEA1, TEA2, PCA). I want to know if is there someone who has a similar machine who can help me with the back up? this are the machine data:
Benelli Annibale
Torni CNC - TF200

S.S. 415
Sinumerik 810T GA3
Thanks and best regards!!!

Don't you have any backup at all?

You should have TEA1, TEA2, PCP, SEA, etc, or perhaps you have the ladder backup in Simatic S5 format?

No, I didn't have a back up, I tried to contact the machine manufacturer but they said that haven't any information.

I started with the MD parameters configuration and I think it is no problem but I have some confusion about the PLC program because I made a short program to power on the machine to move the axis but I can't move the Z axis, the CNC inhibits the movement and I don't know why. In the X axis I don't have problem.

Since you say you made a short program already, that means you have access to S5 software, well then I can give you the files (including the ladder) for a DIFFERENT machine , perhaps you could review and adapt those to your needs.

REMARKS: They belong to a CNC lathe using an 810T also, having an electric driven 8 position turret, hydraulic driven chuck, tailstock and gear box.

CAUTION: I don't suggest you to use these files directly in your machine, just open the ladder in your pc (or PG), use as an example the part that enables the X and Z axes as you mentioned before, and write everything else from scratch.

All the MD's can be configured to your specific needs if you have the 810T manual, wich even mentions a recommended value for all of them.

The attached folder contains the following files:

a) %PCP (Sample ladder in ASCII format)
b) %TEA1
c) %TEA2
d) 90125@ST.S5D (Sample ladder in S5 format)

Good luck and keep us posted.

Thumbs up Re: Benelli torni TF200, 810T GA3

Thanks sinumeriko:

I was trying to adapt the galileo's 320 file but is a little bit complicated because change CH1 and CH2. Just one question the plc ladder is about a GA3? because I didn't see the OB1 and the flags are totally diferent.

I will try to adapt it, looks more simple.

The ladder is for a GA1, you can create the OB1 as simple as this:

:STL
:JU PB1
:BE

(PB1 being your main/only Program Block).

The flags you refer to can be created/changed.

Unhappy Re: Benelli torni TF200, 810T GA3

Thanks Sinumeriko:

I'm making the program but I can't move the spindle because I cant load the change gears and the I 114.6 "Programed Speed too high" is ON, and in the specified reduction stage I 115.0, 1, 2 (A, B, C)= 0.

I have already almost the machine, axis, turret, etc

Do you know the secuence to charge the gears?

Default Good to hear you're almost there!

In the sample ladder file I posted earlier, that machine uses also gear changes, I don't know if you have looked at them already. Could that part of the ladder help just to understand how you need to program yours in GA3? The gear change sequence as I remember is just a little spindle start at very low rpm's prior to change, to help engage/disengage, hydraulic cylinder commanded to switch gear(s), limit or proximity switches confirming the cylinder's new position, spindle stop, etc. The gear changes in that ladder file could be performed by means of internal flags responding to either part programming or manually inputting M41, 42, 43 and 44.

Keep us posted!

Thanks Sinumeriko for all your help, Tomorrow I will test the lathe with a piece to start the production.
The spindle problem was about setting data.

Thanks and good regards!!!
