Hi Guys, I would like to know the procedure to make a backup of the boot files from the F-ROM module of a Fanuc 18T control. I just get a brand new 4 Mb Memex SRAM card, I´ve heard that it is really neccesary to perform the right backup. I will really appreciate your help. Thanks in advance |

Don't know if you still need this procedure but I came across this today when going through some of my old files. I attached a few different files I had. Stevo (The opinions in this post are my own and not those of machinetoolhelp.com and its management) |

Furat, I don’t know your control but if it is just standard DNC communication through the RS232 port then you could use the HyperTerminal on your computer for this. It can be a bit tricky. Otherwise there are some free DNC software’s out there. I don’t have any links at the moment but I will see what I can dig up. I just noticed the title of the thread. Your machine memory runs through F-rom. Do you have a memory card slot on the machine? If so then you can do all backups using the control to the card.
