Red face fanuc 18i-tb need help

I have a fanuc 18i-tb controler that when i boot it up it says loading graphics after it is done it stops on graphics ready and will not go any futher any body have any ideas on this.I have got it to go past this point one time and then it gives me a 975 bus error which is referring back to the mother board need help please.

check your interlocks, modern machines are usually smart enough, but i've seen older machines hang in the boot process, before being awake enough to tell you whats wrong, with a sticking interlock switch

if you have a good backup, boot up erasing the memory and restore your good params, it could be a ram parity type issue... last resort hopefully

I have the same problem in my machin .SOHow to boot up erasing the memory and restore params

I have the same problem in my machine .SO How to boot up erasing the memory and restore params

search the forums but its an involved process... i wouldnt do a memory clear-boot without full backups of both programs/params as well as an F-ROM backup to a pcmcia flash card... but really i think the only things lost are your params/programs...

then you have to reload them... at least a couple manually to get rs232 connection going and then via computer, but if this isn't familiar to you i wouldnt recommend it... hire a professional, or visit local shops and try to find a savvy employee who may help you for far le$$
