I am currently working on my first cnc build. Ive got everything working, but cant get the machine to home using the 'ref all home' button in Mach 3. I have the home switches wired in series, NC. They are on pin 13, and I have them enabled in the config screen. The problem is when I hit the 'ref all home' button, the Z axis travels up and hits the home switch and then stops, it won't reverse to clear the home switch like it is supposed to (I think?). This obviously prevents any other axis from homing because the machine stops after the first home switch is triggered. Any info regarding this problem would be GREATLY appreciated. ![]() Thanks, -e |

I set the debounce interval to 1000. This fixed the problem (Z axis wont reverse on 'ref all home' function) answered my own question...again! ![]() -e |

I've read your 2 questions and the solutions to them just as many other people here, one thing is for sure, you are very persistent and don't give up so easily. Good job. |
