Default 4th axes problems on Cincinnati Sabre 750

Hello all,
I hope somebody would help me with problem I can't solve. Few months ago we have bought second hand VMC Cincinnati Sabre 750 with Fanuc Series 0-M Control (YOM 1994, S/No 7029-F00-R0-0923) without any documentation.
After starting, on screen we have 3 alarms referring to 4th axes (machine came with connectors for 4th axes but without rotary table). Alarms are:
1022 - rotary clamp/unclamp time
402 - 4th axis overload
446 - 4th axis digital servo
Later on we bought manuals via internet but they are general (4th axes not mentioned at all). Can anybody advice me how to solve this problem? Or how to disable 4th axes?
Thank's in advance

i think you would have to contact manufacturer to either find what parameter/s turns your 4th axis off or the fix could be as simple as getting a dummy plug from them. we had to use a dummy plug for an indexer we removed from a Mori Seiki machine. the oem just gave it to us no charge. hope this helps

Hello Thelonegunmen,

Thank you for your reply and advise. I like idea with "dummy plug" very much.

We have tried to get complete documentation from "CINCINNATI MACHINES, 2629 Spring Grove Ave.
Cincinnati, OH 45214" but received only general manuals (despite we send machine number) with nothing about 4th axis. I will try to explain them our problem once more.

Do you, by the chance, have any other contact whom we can ask for help. We need it asap since we have got a job for this machine which wouldn't wait for us forever.

Thanks in advance,

Something that may work for you. Check out this procedure I uploaded. I have changed just the bits before and disabled axes. The dummy plug I believe is only needed when utilizing a dual axis drive. Disable Fanuc axis drive

Hope this helps
Petro

sometimes manufacturers have forth axis added by a separate company it would help if you knew what name forth axis that was on your machine i have a few numbers of different companies that do these interfaces

Technitron (513) 531-2926 mori machine with yuasa indexer
Billor Machine Tool Service (972) 465-3608 yuasa service and repair
Yuasa International (800) 323-7427

Technara N/C Tooling Systems, Inc (562) 941-2000 okuma machine kitagawa indexer
Kitagawa-NorthTech Inc. 800-222-4138

these might get you started

The best way is to disable 4th axis parameters. If you send me the parameter list then I can point out the parameters need to be removed . We have done it on our Cincinnati Sabre 500 with Fanuc O-MC control.
