Post Mitsubishi Gear Cutting Machines

Why do Mitsubishi gear cutting machines use Fanuc CNC systems rather than their own? Any ideas?

Default Re: Mitsubishi Gear Cutting Machines

Mitsubishi Control and Machine Tool are two separate parts of business.

1 reason could be they got a better price on Fanuc Control. Another reason could be (and most likely is) the customer requested Fanuc control.
