Cool Limited number of programs

We have a Mori Seiki NH4000 DCG. We are currently limited to 63 programs even though the control shows we are only using 33% of memory capacity. Does anyone know the parameter to increase the number of programs? It is a FANUC control, but I'm not sure what version; possibly 30i/31i/32i.

Sorry but you will have to call Fanuc to increase the number of programs. Need to tell them the serial number of your control and also the serial number of the machine.
Good luck!

you may be able to hook up a laptop to your machine and drip your programs in if you are looking for a quick fix we do this with some of our machines when necessary. we did get a memory upgrade for our mori wasn't to bad we have Mitsubishi control deff. the way to go if you want to run at full potential.

You are limited to the number of programs you can save in the NC memory but you have a MAPPS control on the machine which means you can use the MAPPS memory to save programs and run them. You have a huge memory for part programs and number of programs in the MAPPS memory. Even if you wish you can use a very large USB stick on the MAPPS control and run programs from it as you would from NC memory seamlessly, no need for drip feeding.
